- Is the comparison readable—that is, is it clear and yet not tediously mechanical? (See p. 141.)
- Is lumping or splitting the best way to make this comparison? (See pp. 143-145.)
- If you are offering a value judgment, is it fair? Have you overlooked weaknesses in your preferred subject, and strengths in your less preferred subject?
